Sven Larsson is a bass trombone player that masters classical music as well as jazz and doubles on tuba, tenor trombone, didgeridoo and bass sackbutt. He was born in 1944 and lives in Stockholm. As a member of the Swedish Radio Jazz Group Sven Larsson has performed and recorded with George Russel,thad Jones, Carla Bley, Lars Gullin, Monica Zetterlund, and many others. Among the artist with whom he has toured are Sammy davis J:r, Lena Horne and Betty Midler. As a free jazz performer he has worked with Barry Guy and Eje Thelin.
